Putting a stop to people that endanger the lives of poor defenseless poultry, and other cruelty to our fine feathered friends

Why so expensive?

Rooster feathers today can cost up to $500, and for good reason. First, this breed of chicken has been selectively bred and genetically modified to produce these beautiful feathers. They come from the back of the rooster, so they are called saddle feathers. It can take up to 6 years to get theses colorful feathers, meaning farmers spend a lot of time keeping them. Also, with thousands of women wanting them, farms just can't keep up. As feathers only last in your hair for a few months, you will have to get more if you like them. Do you it is worth it having an expensive feather in your hair for such a short time, and having an innocent rooster killed for it?
