Keep heritage animals, save rare breeds

Heritage animals are old breeds. They are not genetically modified, mass raised, and are not the animals you will find on factory farms.They all have unique and interesting qualities, like blue eggs, puffs of feathers sprouting from their heads, and unusual feather patterns. I live in New England, so our heritage breeds are different from, say Montana. Here is a list of heritage poultry from New England:
